RPO-SimpleCleave for fiber optic clamp connectors 200/230µm PCF-fiber
The RPO-SimpleCleave tool has been developed to prepare the fiber end face of connectors used for 200/230μm PCF-fiber. Please note that this tool is only useable for fiber optic connectors where the fiber is not glued and for connectors without grinding scrap. During end face processing the fiber is exposed to a well-defined tension force prior cleaving the fiber at the top of the connector. The fiber breaks automatically at the cleaving area becoming a plane fracture. For this reason further end face processing is not necessary. This operating mode leads to reproduceable results of end face processing independant from user and location.
